Cha Eun Woo is endearing as Seo Won. He appears aloof and reserved, weighed down by his past. There is a loving side to him as well, but he keeps it down. He portrays startled expressions and trying hard to be the fearless big guy quite well. There is no reason not to extend paw applause to Cha Eun Woo, who is maturing in his skills as an actor.

Su Ho may be the cool guy in school, but he carries enormous emotional baggage on his young shoulders. From his family issues to a tragic past, he keeps his feelings bottled in. Cha Eun Woo, who is lovingly called the visual king by fans, manages to get the many aspects of his character right, making full use of his facial expressions. His bromance with Hwang In Yeop is cute, and there’s quite a lot of second lead syndrome as well.

Kyung Suk is someone who does not get swayed by people or by their looks but is more taken in with who they truly are on the inside. He recognizes Mi Rae, but instead of only seeing her as a Gangnam Beauty, Kyung Suk’s feelings are beyond the external and for what she represents to the world. He takes it upon himself to instill confidence in Mi Rae.

Though we once again see Cha Eun Woo playing an emotionally burdened teenager, he portrays Kyung Suk’s angst effortlessly. His character won major points for being a genuine and trusting person. And if that is not swoon-worthy, then what is?

In the fight against dark forces, Yohan’s skills in exorcism are a prerequisite for the safety of the island.

As reel imitates real, he is at absolute ease in bringing forth the journey of his character, such as the grind trainees and idols go through, their struggles, and the highs and the lows which accompany life in this rather competitive space. His chemistry with Ahn Hyo Seop is also a delight to watch and will make you wonder why we haven’t seen them together in a project again.
